Genuinely impressed

The fury 2 surprised me. The main thing I noticed was the battery life, and the digital strike adjustments. First the battery. I've used this pen for 7 hours, and still had battery life left. Very impressive. Next, the strike adjustment. The hard mode hits like a 4.2mm strike should, but seems to be less traumatic than some other machines. I believe the needle spends less time at the apex of the stroke. Great for lining. The softer mode decreases the stitches be second a bit, but also does hit the skin with less force. When you turn the volts up, the strike still stays noticeably softer. I've found it an good balance for both b&g with larger mags, and color packing. It does seem to allow a bit more work time in the skin, before too much trauma occurs.
The grips are made of aluminum, and really do change the feel of the machine. If you like large grips with heavier machines, this might be the pen for you. Personally, for the price, this is one of the more versatile pens available, even without an adjustable stroke.
